Mr. Hiroaki Yamada

Mr. Hiroaki Yamada joined Yazaki Corporation in April 1986 and has since been engaged in the development of components for wiring harnesses, mainly for power supply equipment for vehicles. In 2015, he was assigned to Yazaki North America Inc., where he led the establishment of an advanced R&D process for wire harnesses for North American OEMs. After returning to Japan in 2017, he was appointed as Division Manager of HONDA Business Unit EEDS R&D Division.

In June 2021, he was appointed Executive Officer of Yazaki Corporation, General Manager of Advanced Technology R&D Division. As the person responsible for Yazaki Corporation’s Advanced Development Division, he led all of Yazaki Corporation’s advanced development in preparation for future Connected-Autonomous-Shared-Electric (CASE) and electrification of automobiles.

In June 2024, he was appointed General Manager of Yazaki Research and Technology Center and Chairman of YTC America Inc.
